We provide a comprehensive, impartial information and booking service for the Whakatāne region as well as New Zealand for accommodation, activities, attractions and travel bookings.

Nau mai, welcome to Whakatāne; a riverside town in the eastern Bay of Plenty of the North Island of New Zealand. This popular holiday destination is known for its pristine white sand beaches at Ōhope (voted New Zealand’s most loved beach by kiwis), wildlife sanctuary Moutohorā Island, and being Supreme Winner at the most recent Keep New Zealand Beautiful Awards. In the southern part of the district, Whirinaki Te Pua-a-Tāne is a magnificent ancient prehistoric podocarp forest, with a myriad of walking and cycling tracks.

Come and visit our friendly staff, we’d love to help you book accommodation and activities within our rohe/district, plus we happily take bookings for InterCity, KiwiRail, the Interislander and Bluebridge ferries.

"Has it all. I collected bus and train timetables, maps, brochures to attractions, bought souvenirs and booked a tour here. The people were well versed and informative and checked some things online and by phone for me."
